Boivin Rivers a Straight Against Foxen

Level 22 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

Thomas Boivin won a few small pots to preserve his small stack while barely any of the recent hands even went to a flop. The Belgian then raised to 1,650,000 with the J7 in the small blind and Alex Foxen defended his A8 in the big blind.

Both players missed the Q96 flop and Boivin checked, Foxen's staring contest ended in a check back. The 10 turn made things more spicy when straight and flush draws now opening up.

Boivin bet 2,300,000 and Foxen double-checked his cards before coming along to the K on the river, which completed the straight for Boivin. The Belgian carefully took his time to come up with the perfect sizing and then bet 8,000,000, Foxen folded.
