Four-way to a flop of Q♠3♦5♣, Sergio Braga checked from the big blind before Marcus Shepard bet under the gun. Murilo Souza Figueredo in the cutoff, Brandon Bregman on the button, and Braga called.
The J♥ turn then checked to Bregman, who took the initiative with a bet. Braga let his hand go this time, with the others putting in calls.
The 5♦ river prompted Shepard to lead out with a bet. Souza folded before Bregman entered a little tank.
"It's really close," he stated, but ultimately decided to toss in a call. Shepard could only show king-high with K♦7♠4♠2♦, leaving Bregman to take the pot with K♠Q♣J♦9♠ for two pair.
"I haven't been caught like that in a long time," Shepard said as he saw his chips shipped to Bregman.
