Orlov Misses Value

Level 27

Omaha Hi-Lo

Alexander Orlov raised in middle position. It folded to Tobias Hausen in the big blind, who defended. Both players checked the 645 flop to the 10 turn, where Hausen led out with a bet.

Orlov called and did so too when Hausen bet the 2 river. However, when Hausen tabled his AQQ3, Orlov was surprised as he had not seen Hausen bet, intending to bet himself.

After the confusion was cleared up, Orlov showed AK53 for the same nut low as Hausen, but with a straight to go with it to take three-quarters of the pot.
