Manish Madan Eliminated in 7th Place ($110,581)

Level 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Manish Madan
Manish Madan

In the very first hand of the live stream, the action folded to Manish Madan in the small blind. He gave it a few seconds of consideration and raised for most of his severe short stack. Jason Reels in the big blind pondered about his decision and then reluctantly called for 1,700,000 total, Madan had 150,000 behind to the K92 flop and his shove was snap-called.

Jason Reels: K7

Reels had outflopped Madan, who needed an ace to stay in contention. It didn't come on the 5 turn and Q river to knock out Madan in seventh place for $110,581.

Lawrence Rabie opened the action with a raise to 1,600,000 with the KQ, and Brett Lim flat-called in the hijack. Jason Reels then pushed all-in for 9,625,000 on the button, and it folded back to Lim, who asked for an exact count

Jason Reels: Q10 All in
Brett Lim: AJ

Reels had seen some of his outs folded already and needed help to stay in contention. The 944 flop brought no help, nor did the 3 on the turn. Nothing changed with the 2 river either, and Reels became the second casualty of this final day in sixth place for $143,425.

After Brett Lim limped from the cutoff, Elan Lepovic on the button raised to 4,000,000. Jose Boloqui in the big blind then moved all-in for 16,250,000. He made Lim fold, but Lepovic snap-called.

Dennis Carlson Eliminated in 3rd Place ($326,508)

Level 39 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Dennis Carlson
Dennis Carlson

Dennis Carlson raised to 5,000,000 on the button and Elan Lepovic called in the big blind after glancing at the stack of his opponent.

The flop came 952 and Lepovic checked, Carlson jammed for 21,675,000, and was snapped off.

Dennis Carlson: K7 All in
Elan Lepovic: 55

The A turn left Carlson drawing dead prior to the 7 river and Lepovic suddenly jumped into the chip lead for the heads-up duel against Brett Lim after he was the far-shortest stack only half an hour ago. There will now be a very short break before the WSOP gold bracelet will be up for grabs.

Elan Lepovic Eliminated in 2nd Place ($435,572)

Level 41 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Elan Lepovic
Elan Lepovic

Brett Lim open-shoved with his four-to-one lead on the button and Elan Lepovic glanced at his cards, then said "I call".

Elan Lepovic: A4 All in
Brett Lim: AJ

The K52 flop was a tease with the additional wheel draw for Lipovic, while Lim picked up a gutshot straight draw himself on the 10 turn. Neither player improved with the 10 river and the kicker played for Lim to end the duel in his favour.

Lepovic came back from being the far shortest stack with four players left but was ultimately denied the maiden WSOP gold bracelet. His runner-up finish comes with a consolation prize of $435,572 while the retired businessman Lim claims the top prize of $653,839.
