Ishizu Doubles Up

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The action started when Sebastian Mortelmans raised to 12,000 from the cutoff. To his immediate left Tetsuma Ishizu moved all in for 66,000 on the button. Asher Conniff had plans of his own by moving all in for 340,000 from the small blind. Mortelmans folded.

Tetsuma Ishizu: A4All in
Asher Conniff: AJ

It was a battle of the aces before the flop, as three cards landed in the middle of the table 482 Ishizu took the lead with a pair of fours.

With a turn card of 10 not changing the lead for either player, Conniff needed a jack on the river to eliminate Ishizu.

A smooth 7 meant Ishizu doubled his chip stack as the dealer counted down his stack, Conniff threw in the matched bet with just six chips from his monster stack.
