Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ren Lin hit the event just after the dinner break and significantly changed the dynamic of the table to which he was assigned.

Before he even received his starting stack, Lin declared his intentions.

“I’m going all-in on the first hand,” he said.

Well, that is exactly what he ended up doing, getting action from Scott Seiver on a flop of 788.

The J hit on the river, giving Lin the straight and a quick double-up.

“Touchdown, baby!” Lin screamed. “I know how to play PLO.”

Lin then declared he would go all-in again in the next two hands and followed through on the promise, raising the pot preflop on the third set of cards he was dealt.

Eran Carmi reraised with a pot-sized bet, but that didn’t deter Lin, who came over the top with an all-in four-bet.

Carmi gave it some thought, before electing to fold, much to Lin’s chagrin.

“It’s the first time in my life somebody repotted me and folded,” Lin said with a big smile. "I wanted to double up again."

Lin moved from the 50,000 starting stack to 139,000 chips in just three hands.

“Unbelievable,” Carmi said.
