Gonzalez's Two Pair Bests Lau's Two Pair

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ka Kwan Lau raised to 6,000 from the small blind, and Sergio Martinez Gonzalez made the call from the big blind.

The flop was 1087 and Lau continued for 8,000. Gonzalez made the call.

The action went check-check on the 9 turn and on the Q river.

When it was time to reveal the cards, Lau announced two pair, and showed the 9 and 8. Gonzalez showed the 10 and 8 for a better two pair. Lau hung onto his hand until Gonzalez revealed his entire four-card hand. The rest of the table said he should have to show all four of his cards to claim the pot. Gonzalez eventually showed the A and K to rake in the pot.
