Shakerchi Adds to His Stack

Level 9 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Talal Shakerchi raised to 9,000 under the gun with Brant Hale calling on the button, Lawrence Chang calling from the small blind, and James Mendoza defending his big blind.

After the blinds checked the 629 flop, Shakerchi bet 20,000, which only Hale called.

The 2 dropped on the turn and Shakerchi fired a second barrel of 40,000. This was enough to get Hale to fold, and Shakerchi pulled in the pot.
