Ivey Takes it Down on River

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

The hand began when Phil Ivey limped from early position. Thomas Taylor followed with a limp from the hijack, and Erick Lindgren limped from the small blind. Cliff Josephy checked his option from the big blind to create a four-way pot.

The table checked around to Taylor on the Q810 flop. Taylor chose to bet 40,000, which led to folds from Lindgren and Josephy. Ivey was not done with the hand and stuck around with a call.

Ivey checked the 6 turn, which led to a bet of 135,000 from Taylor. Ivey once again called to send both to a river.

Ivey bet 145,000 when the 8 hit the river. Taylor gave it some thought before he folded awarding the pot to Ivey.
