Moncek Takes One Pair to the Streets

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a flop of 753, Jesse Lonis led out with a bet of 77,000 and Tyler Moncek called in position. The turn was the 10 and Lonis bet the pot of 300,000. Moncek only had 268,000 remaining and made the call.

Lonis had top pair and a wrap while Moncek was a sitting duck with just a pair of jacks. However, the Q on the river bricked out and Moncek's pair of jacks was enough to double up.

"How is it possible to lose this hand?" Lonis questioned after.

"I didn't think it was possible," Isaac Haxton responded.
