Duek Takes it Down with a Pot-Sized River Bet

Level 27 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Michael Duek limped in from middle position. Phil Ivey also limped on the button, Dennis Weiss called from the small blind, and Talal Shakerchi checked his option.

The flop of K44 saw all players check. Then on the 6 turn, it was Weiss who woke up with a bet. He fired 425,000 into the pot. Only Duek called.

The A was the river card, and Weiss checked. Duek fired a pot-sized bet for 1,850,000. Weiss thought for a moment, and decided to fold.
