Pughjones Raises Kupin

Action was three-way to the 6JA flop, where Gruffudd Pughjones checked in the small blind. Aaron Katz followed with a check in the big blind before Aaron Kupin fired a bet of 8,000.

After asking how much was in the pot, Pughjones check-raised to 28,000. The produced a fold from Katz, with Kupin quickly folding behind as Pughjones took down the pot.

Flush for Hrabec

Roman Hrabec raised from middle position to 14,000 and was called by Ben Lamb from the cutoff.

Hrabec opted to check the K6K flop, which led to a bet of 10,000 from Lamb. Hrabec called to see a turn.

Both players checked the 2 turn to see a free river.

When the 4 hit the river, Hrabec checked again. Lamb decided to bet 28,000, and Hrabec called.

Lamb showed only the 88, while Hrabec revealed Q984 for a rivered flush.

Foxen Forces Haxton Out

Alex Foxen limped under the gun before Isaac Haxton raised to 18,000 from the next seat. Dylan Smith called on the button, and Foxen also called.

Foxen checked to Haxton on the A5K flop, and Haxton bet 12,000. Smith folded, but Foxen check-raised to 42,000. This was enough to get Haxton to lay down his cards and forfeit the pot to Foxen.

Brannan Pots the River

Daniel Geeng checked the 103KJ turn from the small blind and called after Frank Brannan fired a bet of 45,000 in the cutoff.

Another check from Geeng followed the 4 river, with Brannan announcing pot. That produced a fold from Geeng, and Brannan collected the pot.

A pot had grown to approximately over 40,000 when Erik Seidel put in the last of his chips and went all in against Philip Sternheimer on the board of 5A6. Sternheimer called to go to a showdown.

Seidel flopped a set of sixes and his hand held as the board ran out 10 on the turn and 4 on the river to double up and leave Sternheimer with only 17,000 left.

Sternheimer was busted shortly after. He then reentered the tournament and sat with a fresh stack of 150,000.

Rheem Busts Medarov

Vasil Medarov limped in from under the gun. Action folded to Chino Rheem in the cutoff, who raised the size of the pot to 18,000. It folded back around to Medarov, who called.

The board came out J105 and Medarov decided to move all in. Rheem quickly called and the cards were on their backs.

The turn came the 5 and the river was the 2. Neither player hit any of their draws, and Rheem's aces up was good to win this pot and bust Medarov.

With around 125,000 in the pot on a flop of K98, Richard Gryko checked from the big blind and Jared Bleznick jammed for around 81,000 from under the gun. Erik Nordstrand called on the button, but Gryko potted it with the covering stack. Nordstrand quickly folded and the cards were revealed with Bleznick at risk.

Reinbold Doubles With Top Set

Yuriy Boyko made it 14,000 on the button before Zachary Reinbold three-bet to 45,000 from the small blind with just 25,000 remaining.

Reinbold committed the last of his chips on the AJ3 flop, and Boyko reluctantly called.
