Aaron Kupin Eliminated in 13th Place ($107,029)

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Aaron Kupin
Aaron Kupin

Jeffrey Hakim raised it up from the cutoff and was called by Lautaro Guerra and Aaron Kupin in the blinds. The flop came K65 and the action checked around to the 8 on the turn.

Kupin led out with a pot-sized bet of 1,005,000 on the turn and Hakim called. Guerra got out of the way and the 10 completed the board. Kupin checked this time and Hakim shoved all in. Kupin had a decision to make for his remaining 275,000 chips and he burned through multiple time banks.

"I don't even know if I had the best hand on the turn," Kupin thought out loud. He eventually called it off and tabled A764 for an eight-high straight. Hakim, on the other hand, turned over 8765 for a flush and Kupin was eliminated.

Bryn Kenney limped in from under the gun and Frank Brannan raised to 450,000 in the cutoff. Ben Lamb flat-called on the button and Kenney came along as well. The flop fell 986 and the action checked to Lamb who bet 1,600,000. Kenney quickly folded but Brannan used a couple of time banks before calling off his stack of roughly 700,000.

Frank Brannan: AA85All in
Ben Lamb: KQJ9

Brannan was ahead with his pocket aces but Lamb flopped a pair and had plenty of two pair options. The 5 on the turn was a brick but the J on the river gave Lamb two pair to eliminate Brannan just before the break.

Evan Krentzman raised from the hijack to 350,000, and when action folded to Anson Tsang, he three-bet to 1,050,000, which was a large portion of his remaining stack. Action then returned to Krentzman, who four-bet, putting Tsang all in. Tsang called, and the players turned their cards over.

Evan Krentzman: AKJ9

The flop Q107 gave Krentzman plenty of outs to win the pot, and the turn 9 moved him into the lead with a straight.

The river was unable to save Tsang from elimination, coming down the 2.

Krentzman absorbed Tsang's stack, as Tsang headed to the exit.

Lautaro Guerra opened under the gun to 350,000 and only Artem Maksimov, in the big blind, called.

The flop came A8Q, and when Guerra continued with a bet of 250,000, Maksimov check-raised all in. Guerra called, and the cards were turned on their backs.

Artem Maksimov: QQ88 All in
Lautaro Guerra: AAJ5

Both players had flopped sets; in fact, Maksimov had flopped two. It was Guerra with top set, though.

The turn brought the 3, meaning Maksimov had one opportunity left to hit either of his two remaining outs.

Alas, the river 6 did not save Maksimov, and he departed in 19th place.

Tsang, King of the Limpers

Level 23 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Anson Tsang
Anson Tsang

After Dennis Weiss limped under the gun, three more players followed suit, including Anson Tsang in the cutoff. The big blind, Isaac Haxton, checked his option, and five players saw a flop.

When the blinds checked on the 9A5 flop, Weiss put out a bet of 210,000. Only Tsang and Haxton called, trimming the field by two, and the three remaining players saw a turn.

Haxton checked once again on the A turn, and this time, so did Weiss. Tsang saw a green light to bet and slid out 400,000. Haxton folded, but Weiss stuck around to see a river.

The river 6 didn't deter Tsang. When Weiss checked to him, Tsang pushed out a bet of 725,000. After a moment's thought, Weiss said, "Nice hand" and folded, conceding the pot to Tsang.
