Troendly Couldn't Call

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Soo Chang raised to 16,000 on the button. Richard Troendly re-raised to 48,000 and Chang called taking both of them to the flop.

The dealer fanned out 8Q3 which both players checked. The turn 6 dropped and Troendly fired 25,000. Chang called once again.

On the river 10 Troendly slowed the action down with a check. Chang keeping the action going shoved all-in for around 150,000 sending Troendly to the tank.

Troendly looked at his stack, separated the 150,000, then put it back. He looked at the flop for a few seconds then mucked his cards, stating that Chang probably had a flush.

As Chang scooped the pot, Troendly said he had two pair, to which Chang jokingly asked, "Why didn't you call?"
