Ganivet Shoves on Labranche; Ortega Wins One, Loses One

Level 40 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

James Carroll looked down at 88 in the cutoff and committed himself to the pot with a raise of 10,000,000, which got through.

After that, Jonah Labranche raised to 5,000,000 from the small blind with Q2 and Alejandro Ganivet, with KJ, shoved for 28,200,000 from the big blind. Labranche quickly let it go.

Jacques Ortega then picked up 1010 from under the gun and made it 3,200,000, earning him the pot as everybody folded.

Finally a flop was seen when Josh Reichard opened A2 from the hijack to 3,200,000, and Ortega defended with 105 out of the big blind.

On the JK9 flop, Ortega checked and Reichard continued for 3,500,000. Ortega took some time to count out his stack, but eventually laid his hand down.
