Lang Scoops a Monster

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jason Lang
Jason Lang

Virgile Turchi raised to 30,000 from middle position and found calls from Patrick Moulder and Braz Junior in late positions and Robert Nehorayan on the button. Jason Lang then raised pot to 160,000 from the small blind. Turchi called, but then Moulder moved all in for 244,000. Junior and Nehorayan got out of the way, but Lang and Turchi both called.

The flop came Q22 and Lang instantly moved all in for his last 107,000, which sent Turchi into the tank, and after he announced 'My Hand is Really Bad!', he finally made the call.

Patrick Moulder: AKJ4All in
Jason Lang: AA62All in
Virgile Turchi: J1098

Lang was way ahead with his flopped trips, but Moulder had outs for a flush. He got no help on the 10 turn, and when the 6 peeled off on the river and filled Lang up, he scooped the massive pot and sent Moulder to the rail.
