Ivens Ends Kessler's run
Limits: 12,000/24,000
Badugi
Allen Kessler, after being left very short-stacked the previous hand, put his remaining stack of 11,000 in the middle from the hijack.
Todd Ivens raised from the cutoff, Akshat Bajaj called from the small blind and Hooman Nikzad defended from the big blind. Nikzad drew one while the other three players each drew two.
After the first draw Bajaj checked and Nikzad bet. Ivens called and Bajaj called. This time all four players drew one.
Action checked to Ivens who bet after the second draw. This time only Nikzad called. All three players drew one.
With no draws remaining Nikzad check-called one more bet from Ivens. Kessler had bricked, ending up with 6♠5♥5♣3♥. Ivens showed a three-card three with 10♥3♥2♠A♣ which was enough to eliminate Kessler and win the pot.
