Jeff Madsen

No-Limit Hold'em

Robert Wells raised to 18,000 from under the gun and was called by Jeff Madsen in the small blind.

Madsen checked to Wells, who continued for 20,000 on the 736 flop. Madsen then check-raised to 68,000 and Wells called.

The 8 fell on the turn and Madsen announced he was all in, which was enough to put Wells all in for approximately 370,000 total.

"Nice hand," Wells said before laying his hand down.

Simeon Tsonev
Simeon Tsonev

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Philip Sternheimer raised to 20,000 in the hijack. Simeon Tsonev then three-bet jammed for 143,000 on the button, and Matt Vengrin also moved all in in the small blind.

Vengrin had Sternheimer covered, and Sternheimer called after he spent some time in the tank. Vengrin stood pat on the draw, as did Sternheimer. Tsonev elected to draw one card, and the players showed their cards.

Vengrin showed 8x6x5x4x2x for a pat eight, but Sternheimer had found a pat seven with 7x6x5x3x2x.

"I'm drawing dead," Tsonev claimed as he eventually tabled 9x6x4x3x2x. Tsonev took his exit, seeing Sternheimer ship the gigantic pot of nearly seven figures.

Frank Athey: 8x4xAx/10x6xJxKx All in
Jarryd Godena: XxXx/4x8x4x - folded on fifth street
John Centeno: 3x2xAx/Ax4x9xKx

Jarryd Godena called the bring-in, John Centeno completed, and Frank Athey moved all in for 8,000. Godena called, and also called Centeno's bet on fourth street.

Centeno bet again on fifth street, this time forcing Godena out of the pot. The cards were then dealt up until seventh street, where they were opened once all other tables had completed their hands.

Athey was stuck with a ten-low, while Centento was sitting on a nine-low. Centeno was awarded the pot, and Athey said his goodbyes as the final player to leave the tournament without a return on their investment.
