Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Lucas Reeves kicked things off in middle position with a raise of 1,300. Both blinds made the call to see a flop.

On the K♠2♥9♣ flop, both blinds checked and Reeves continued for 1,500. Marc Bougaret folded, but Manuel Fritz in the big blind raised to 6,000, and Reeves called.

Fritz checked once again the Q♥ turn, and Reeves fired another bet, this time 8,000, and Fritz made the call.

The 7♣ hit the river and Fritz checked, Reeves went all in for around 22,500 which Fritz called immediately. Reeves turned A♣2♣ for a pair of deuces but Fritz showed Q♦2♦ for two pair. Reeves was sent packing and Fritz boosted his stack.

After a raise from the cutoff and a call behind, the action reached Eric Cloutier in the small blind, who shoved all in. Jessica Teusl was in the big blind with 14,000 behind and also moved all in. The initial raisers got out of the way, and the cards were tabled.

Mackoff Turns Up Quads to Bust Ausmus in Massive Pot

With about 9,300 already in the pot and the flop showing 3♠3♦A♠, all three players, Ethan Yau in the big blind, Jeremy Ausmus in middle position, and Jonas Mackoff on the cutoff, checked it through.

On the 5♦ turn, Yau led out for 5,500. Both Ausmus and Mackoff called.

The 10♠ hit the river, and Yau fired again, this time for 16,000, leaving just 400 behind. Ausmus thought it over and called, before Mackoff moved all in for roughly 69,200.

Yau tanked and eventually folded, clinging to just a few chips. Ausmus called and tabled 5♠5♥ for a full house, but it wasn’t enough, Mackoff turned over 3♠3♣ for quads to scoop the monster pot and send Ausmus to the rail.

After losing a big hand, Ethan Yau was left with just 400 chips and found himself all in from the small blind. Action folded to Tyler Gaston in the cutoff, who raised to 2,400, but with no other takers, it went straight to showdown.

It wasn’t the prettiest hand to be all in with, but the board ran out 2♦J♣5♦4♣6♣, giving Yau a surprise straight and keeping his hopes alive with a fresh 2,400 stack.

In the very next hand, Blaz Zerjav opened to 2,500 from the cutoff, and Yau, now on the button, moved all in once again. Everyone else got out of the way and it was time for another showdown.
