Gathering 999 entries already, with one level of late registration remaining, this event had 348 players find a bag at the end of ten levels of play. The current prize pool is over $4,500,000 and growing.
Sebastian Toro skyrocketed up the leaderboard after the dinner break. He came out of nowhere to lead the field heading into Day 2, showcasing why he is 11th on Colombia’s all-time money list. Behind him are two men representing France, Samy Dubonnet and Benoit Fiasson. Dubonnet won a massive flip late in the day to secure himself the spot behind Toro as second in chips heading into Day 2.

Haxton found himself in a tough spot early in the day, and while unhappy about making the call on the end, could not escape his fate holding top two pair.
The players will return on Tuesday, June 24, at noon to Level 11 (1,000/2,500/2,500). They will play another ten 60-minute levels, with 15-minute breaks after every two levels. There will be a 60-minute dinner break after Level 16.

With around 90,000 in the pot and the board reading 2♣K♠4♥6♦, Sebastian Toro led out for 50,000 from the small blind. Bernhard Binder, on the button, made the call.
The 4♦ river paired the board, and both players checked it down.
At showdown, Toro revealed 10♥10♦ for two pair, tens and fours. Binder didn’t need long to muck his cards, conceding the hefty pot to Toro, who added to his stack even more.
Sami Bechahed raised to 4,000 from under the gun. John Ripnick went all in as next to act for 48,000. The action folded back around to Bechahed who made the call.
John Ripnick: K♥10♥
Sami Bechahed: Q♠Q♣
The board ran out J♠9♥8♥7♣8♣ and Ripnick found a straight on the turn to save his tournament life, and double-up to over 100,000 chips.
Three-way in a limped pot, Artur Martirosian and Jakob Miegel in the blinds checked the 8♦Q♥A♥ flop to Ioannis Angelou Konstas in the cutoff who bet 6,000. Martirosian in the small blind was the only one to call.
Both players checked the 6♣ turn leading to the 10♥ river that Martirosian checked.
Angelou Konstas bet 15,000, Martirosian snap-called but Angelou immediately flipped over K♥J♠ for a straight to win the pot.
Each table will play four more hands before the bagging and tagging process begins. Anyone who advances to Day 2 tomorrow will return at 12 p.m. local time.
Samy Dubonnet raised to 4,500 in the hijack and Stefan Dimitrov shoved all in for around 35,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Dubonnet who called to put Dimitrov at risk.
Stefan Dimitrov: Q♣J♦
Samy Dubonnet: 6♥6♦
The flop came 5♠2♠2♣ and Dubonnet was still in the lead with his pocket sixes. The 4♠ on the turn changed nothing and the 2♥ on the river improved Dubonnet to a full house, eliminating Dimitrov.
