Borick flopped top pair but Meunier still had a flush draw. The 8♥ turn didn't change anything, but the 5♣ river completed Meunier's flush. "French are very lucky," Borick was before walking away. "I agree," Meunier answered while scooping the pot.

Shoreman Finds a Double KO

Samad Rashid raised it up from the cutoff and was called by Daniel Dangoor on the button and Jon Shoreman in the big blind. An action flop of J♣9♥4♣ hit the felt and the players quickly got all of their chips in the middle.

Shoreman had the two shorter stacks covered and Rashid started cheering for a clean runout.

"Deuce of hearts! Deuce of hearts!" he shouted as the 5♦ hit the turn but the 3♣ rolled off on the river. "F*** me! F***me man! You guys have each other's blockers!"

Both Dangoor and Shoreman rivered a flush but it was Shoreman who had the best one, sending both of his opponents to the payout desk.

Pecheux Extends his Lead

After winning a big pot to climb to 2,600,000, Erwann Pecheux opened to 25,000 from the button and was called by both players in the blinds.

All three of them checked the J♣K♦9♦ flop leading to the 5♦ where the blinds checked again. Pecheux bet 75,000 and Joey Couden in the small blind was the only one to call.

The 9♥ river completed the board. Coudey checked and Pecheux moved all-in. Coudey went into the tank for a few seconds and called off his last 240,000.

Pecheux flipped over J♦6♦ for a flush. Upon seeing the hand, Couden mucked and was eliminated.

Maue Gets There the Hard Way

Nicholas Wright opened to 30,000 from under the gun and Joey Weissman three-bet to 80,000 on the button. Leonard Maue four-bet jammed all in from the small blind which got Wright to fold but Weissman quickly called off his stack of over 400,000.
