A Look at Greenstein's Summer
The Robin Hood of Poker, Barry Greenstein, quietly shows up to the World Series of Poker each year, playing whichever events tickle his fancy. He often choses mixed games or large field no-limit hold'em events, avoiding the small fields of the higher stakes.
Playing an old school game that has been gaining popularity, Greenstein found a cash in the $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw, placing 47th in a field of 532 ($3,397).
Big O is a game that has roots in classic Omaha Hi-Lo but with an extra card and betting that's pot limit so it's proved to be a progressively more common game in the modern era. Greenstein had a deep run in the $1,500 Big O and he was even seated to the left of former high stakes personality, Sam Farha. Greenstein went on to get 47th in that event ($6,941).
Greenstein also picked up two cashes in no-limit hold'em and he'll be looking to make it a third in the $1,000 Super Seniors.
