Long standing poker fans might be surprised to hear of the tough competitors drawn to the Super Seniors.

Eli Elezra, a long time staple of televised high stakes, has yet to tally a cash at the 2025 World Series of Poker but he has been on the felt, as he bubbled the $1,500 Big O deep in Day 1 earlier in the Series.

JJ Liu, with nearly $4,000,000 in lifetime earnings has cashes dating back to 1996 and she makes the pilgrimage to the WSOP every summer. She's easy to spot, as she always has a vibrant fashion sense. Liu cashed Event #10: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack but has yet to find a big score,

Two-time Main Event Champion, Johnny Chan, was also seen in the mix. He often cherry picks the events he feels like playing, putting in less volume than many of his peers. Chan is an elite group of double-digit bracelet winners with a whopping 10. The poker legend hasn't logged a single cash in 2025 but that doesn't mean he won't be a force to be reckoned with when he does show up.
