Coombe Doesn't Fire the Third Bullet

Dominic Coombe of Team Mccartney opened from under the gun to 325,000 and Kelvin Kerber of Team Kerber called from the big blind.
The flop came K♣5♣9♥ and Kerber check-called a bet of 260,000 from Coombe. When the 2♣ landed on the turn, Kerber again check-called after Coombe bet 700,000.
A 2♠ paired the paired the board on the river and Kerber checked for a third time, and after some consideration, Coombe checked back.
Kerber then revealed a pair of kings with K♦6♦, and Coombe mucked.
"Would you fold if I shoved river?" Coombe asked Kerber after the hand. "I wasn't decided yet," he responded.
