Thousands Prepare for Battle on Day 1c of the $300 Gladiators of Poker

Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2025 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.

Today sees Day 1c, the third of four starting flights, of Event #67: $300 Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Hold'em shuffle up and deal at 10 a.m. local time here at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. This event carries a $3,000,000 guarantee on the prize pool.

Players sit down with starting stacks of 30,000 and hope to navigate their way through 22 levels or until only 15% of the field remains, whichever is later. Those levels last 30 minutes. There will be 20-minute breaks every four levels (or as needed for color-ups), and a 75-minute dinner break will follow Level 15 at about 6:30 p.m. Payouts will start on Day 1.

Registration remains open for each starting flight until the start of Level 12, at about 4:30 p.m. local time. Players are allowed two reentries per flight.

Day 1a took place on June 25 and amassed 3,614 entries. However, only 119 of them progressed to Day 2, which takes place on Sunday, June 29, starting at 11 a.m. Day 1b finished on Thursday and saw 147 of the 4,589 entrants progress to Day 2.

On Day 2, survivors of all four starting flights will be combined and play 17 levels of 40 minutes each. Dinner break will occur at around 5:40 p.m. at the conclusion of Level 31. PokerNews traditional coverage of this event starts on Day 2.

Event #67: $300 Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Hold'em is shaping up to be a big one. When the action closed on Day 1c, the total entry count for the event had hit a massive 16,144.

At the end of Day 1c, Joseph Butler and Nicholas Naughton, bagged 3,275,000 and 2,735,000, respectively. With Hari Srinica Kamireddi taking thirs place with 2,730,000 in their bag.

With 204 Day 1c survivors joining the field for Day 2, the current Day 2 field stands at 470. These survivors will join with the Day 1d survivors on Day 2.

Coming up Saturday is the final flight, Day 1d, which will begin at 10 a.m. local time on June 28.

Play will last for 22 30-minute levels, and attendance is expected to be high. Last year's event hit 20,647 entrants, so this year's turnout is well on its way to being even larger!
