Roman Wins With Top Pair

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Pablo Roman raised to 600 from middle position and was called by John Ripnick in the small blind and David Moses in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a 5♣2♦A♥ flop. Action checked to Ripnick, who bet 600. Roman raised to 1,700, Moses folded, and Ripnick made the call.

Both players checked the 2♣ turn and 8♣ river. Ripnick tabled A♠9♥, which beat Roman's 3♥3♦.
