Defoe Cracks Kings for Huge Double-Up

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Angela Defoe
Angela Defoe

Angela Defoe was seen dragging in a sizable pot after having double up through Lucas Pochat. With her cards still face up at showdown, she held AK on a runout of 25493 for a rivered wheel.

Steven Jones caught up with PokerNews to give a quick recap of the hand. According to Jones, Pochat opened the action with a raise to 100,000, Defoe flatted, and next to act was Romain Lewis who three-bet to about 350,000. Pochat then four-bet to around 700,000, and Defoe five-bet shoved all in for 1,950,000 to put herself at risk. Lewis folded and Pochat called with pocket kings.
