Ilan Cukrowicz raised from under the gun to 5,000 and found a call in the cutoff from Neng Zhao. Connor Belcher in the big blind then decided to three-bet all in for his remaining 37,500. Both players called to create a juicy main pot.
The flop came 7♣5♦9♠, and Cukrowicz check-called Zhao's 42,000 bet. The players saw the 4♣ peel off on the turn.
Cukrowicz checked again and Zhao now bet out for 65,000 to which Cukrowicz responded with a check-raise all in of 191,000. This sent Zhao deep into the tank for 4-5 minutes, and he eventually released his hand.
Connor Belcher: J♠J♣
Ilan Cukrowicz: 7♥7♠
Belcher needed a jack to stay alive but got no help on the 6♦ river and was sent to the rail whilst Cukrowicz scooped both pots and a lovely start to the day.
