The players are now on their first 15-minute break of the day and play will resume at approximately 2:17 p.m. local time.
Shortly after rebuying for a fresh 40,000 starting stack, Danny Tang found himself all in and at risk against Gurpreet Lubana.
Danny Tang: A♠A♥
Gurpreet Lubana: 10♠10♣
The board ran out K♠9♠5♦3♥10♥ with Lubana drilling a ten on the river to send Tang packing.
Alexander Greenblatt was seen dragging in a sizable pot after having eliminated Alexander Wong.
With cards still on their backs at showdown, Greenblatt held J♣J♦ versus Wong's 8♦8♥ on a board of 8♣J♥Q♥A♣Xx.
The players who started the day with the biggest stacks are making their presence felt in Event #68.
Nikolai Tulin raised from middle position to 6,000, and action was folded around to Faraz Jaka in the big blind who moved all-in for his last 32,500. Tulin snap called.
Faraz Jaka: K♦K♠
Nikolai Tulin: A♦10♦
The 4♠5♥3♦ flop was safe for Jaka, but the 8♦ on the turn gave some concern for the flush. The river bricked out however, with the J♣, and Jaka was shipped the pot.
Action folded around to Martin Kabrhel in the small blind who moved all in for just under 30,000. Hang Xu called in the big blind with the covering stack.
Martin Kabrhel: K♠7♥
Hang Xu: J♥J♣
There were no kings to be found on the Q♦Q♠3♥Q♥8♣ runout and Kabrhel was sent to the rail.
Shortly after, Kabrhel was seen back in the counts after hopping back in for a second bullet.
Robert Hover raised to 6,500 from under the gun. John Ripnick then ripped his stack into the middle for 54,000 and was at risk. The rest of the table folded, but Hover called, and saw he was ahead.
John Ripnick: Q♠J♠
Robert Hover: A♠Q♥
The dealer spread a 3♦K♦8♦6♠J♦ board, and Ripnick hit the river, securing a much-needed double-up.
Danny Tang open-shoved under the gun for 37,000 to put himself at risk and was called by Bradley Gafford in the small blind.
Danny Tang: 4♠4♦
Bradley Gafford: K♠Q♠
Gafford pulled ahead on the K♦A♥6♠ flop, pairing his king. The 9♦ turn and 10♠ river offered no help to Tang and he elected to rebuy for a fresh 40,000 starting stack.
Lucia Navarro has also recently busted out.
Timur Margolin was all in preflop and at risk in early position against David Peters in the big blind who had the covering stack.
Timur Margolin: A♥K♣
David Peters: 9♥9♦
It was a fair fight, but Peters pulled far out into the lead on the 6♦9♠A♠ flop, improving to a set of nines.
Margolin would need runner-runner to stay alive, but the 3♠ turn and 7♦ river offered him no help.
