Arthur Schilder: XxXx/2310 - folded on fifth street
David Levi: 88/4KJ5 - folded on sixth street
Huck Seed: 53/A688

Arthur Schilder called the bring-in, David Levi completed, and Hall of Famer Huck Seed called. Schilder also came along to fourth street, which checked around.

Seed caught a fourth low card on fifth street and bet out. Schilder quickly folded, but Levi stuck around with a call.

Seed made an open pair of eights on sixth street, prompting another bet from him.

"If you just fold, I make three eights," Levi lamented.

"Do you have pocket eights?" Seed asked before Schilder folded the eights in his hole face up. Seed returned the favor by showing his made low.

"He had the better kicker, you made a good fold," Ray Fishman analyzed as the pot was shipped to Seed.

Defending Champion Tangles With "Talonchick"

Level 6
Adrienne Carter
Adrienne Carter

Ten years ago, Adrienne Carter helped promote mixed games when streaming online poker really took off. Under the moniker "Talonchick", she streamed countless hours, introducing a new audience to the various formats poker has to offer.

After taking a step back from the game in 2018, Carter took a different path in life. Poker never fully left her mind, however, as she made a reappearance at the WSOP in 2024, after a 14-year absence.

Getting a taste of glory by making one unofficial final table that year, Carter has returned to the tables this year, and she was involved in a pot with defending champion Nikolay Fal.

Nikolay Fal: J74/J353
Adrienne Carter: 88Xx/7976

Fal bet on fourth street and saw Carter call. Both players checked when Carter paired on fifth street. Carter checked again on sixth street. Fal bet, and Carter called.

It was checked to showdown on seventh street. Carter showed two eights in the hole for eights and sevens, but she mucked her last card when Fal tabled jacks and threes for the winning hand.
