Seiver Drags a Pot with Second Pair

Level 2 : Blinds 400/800, 0 ante

Scott Seiver raised on the button to 2300 and Michael Steele made the call from big blind.

The board came out K6J and both players checked.

Steele led out of the 6 for 5,000 and Seiver called.

The 8 fell on the river and Steele thought for a beat before checking, and Seiver checked as well. Steele announced that he had an eight, but Seiver let him know that was no good and showed the [Qc[]Jc] to take down the pot.

Steele still has a slight advantage in chips to start this match.
