Josephson Finds a Double

Level 2

No-Limit Hold'em

Loren Egide opened the hijack to 6,000 before Gregory Josephson clicked it to 1,200 in the cutoff. In the small blind, Kiyoshi Eda made it 3,000. Egide folded and Josephson called.

On the QJ9 flop, Eda led to put Josephson at risk and he called off his final 4,000.

Gregory Josephson: KJ All in
Kiyoshi Eda: AK

Josephson had the dominated hand preflop but paired his jack to take the lead. Eda still had a gutshot and one over, and he picked up the nut flush draw on the 8 turn. However, the river was the 8 and Josephson held to collect the full double.
