Michael Rocco has made headlines in the past year after a strong 2024 WSOP, which included winning his maiden bracelet in the $10,000 Six-Max for $924,922, as well as a top-five finish in the Player of the Year race.
However, he later announced that he would be leaving the poker world in pursuit of a farming endeavor, and that we would not be seeing much of him this WSOP.
Rocco would make it to Vegas for the $50,000 Poker Players Championship. He fell short of the money, but is back in action today in this event.
He was tangled in a pot from the small blind against Adam Croffut on the button. On the 5♣2♦2♣ flop, Rocco bet 2,800 and Croffut called.
The turn brought the J♠. Rocco sized up to 7,000 and Croffut folded but not before requesting a rabbit hunt, which the dealer is not allowed to do. Rocco flashed a 2x to his opponent as he scooped the pot.
