The $1,500 Mixed events at the WSOP provide an opportunity for recreational players to battle with some of the most seasoned pros, and such is the case at table #287, with three bracelet winners and mixed game crushers seated alongside one another.
Action picked up on the second draw as Maksim Pisarenko took one from the big blind, David Funkhouser took two from the hijack, and Brandon Shack-Harris took one from the button. Pisarenko led from the big blind, Funkhouser folded, and Shack-Harris called.
Pisarenko stood pat on the final draw while Shack-Harris needed one card. Pisarenko checked to Shack-Harris who tossed out a bet, and Pisarenko let it go without much fight as Shack-Harris dragged some much-needed chips.
