Carol Fuchs limped the button, Evan Haskell completed from the small blind, and Song Wang potted to 12,000 from the big blind. Fuchs called and Haskell folded to create a pot of 30,000.
On the 5♠4♥3♥ flop, Wang led enough to cover Fuchs and she called all in for her final 25,500.
Carol Fuchs: K♥J♦10♦8♥
Song Wang: J♠9♣8♠8♦
Wang was ahead with eights but Fuchs had a flush draw and live overs. Unfortunately for her, the board ran out 2♦2♣ and Wang's eights held to score an early elimination.
