Seidel Gets a Shove Through

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

With 40 players remaining spread across five tables, some of the contenders in the mix are tanking on the pay jump bubble. Erik Seidel however wasted little time to raise the pot to 105,000 from an early position. Ken Fishman called from the big blind and checked the AQJ flop. Seidel jammed for 240,000 - exactly the size of the pot - and Fishman folded.

TV Runout Gives Seidel a Double-Up

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Scott Bohlman raised to 105,000 in the hijack and Erik Seidel three-bet to 360,000 in the cutoff. Bohlman announced all in and Seidel called off the extra 60,000 chips in front of him.

Scott Bohlman: AAJ7

The flop came K105 and Seidel took the lead with a set of kings. The Q on the turn improved Bohlman to a straight but the 10 on the river reversed the roles again as Seidel made a full house to double up.

"That's a made-for-TV runout," David Paredes said after the hand.

Rapid Chip Changes in Quick Succession

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Scott Bohlman was unable to beat the AA102 of Simeon Tsonev on the 887QK runout and was sent to the rail when his AQxJxJ failed to improve.

Shortly after, Ben Lamb raised to 105,000 and then called the all-in of Jeffrey Whittinghill for 330,000 total.

Ben Lamb: 10876

The board ran out 107544 and Whittinghill turned a flush to survive.

Moments later, Jorryt van Hoof took a hit when Marcello Del Grosso flopped a set and rivered quads with KK1010 on the K528K runout.

Michael Rocco: AAA4

The 98765 board delivered a straight on the board but neither of the players could use that, which ensured that the pair of aces remained ahead of kings to knock out Chidwick.

"You take his chips and his soul, eh?" Dominykas Karmazinas said with a grin on the face.

Andreas Zampas
Andreas Zampas

Andreas Zampas raised to 140,000 from early position and was three-bet to 480,000 by Ben Lamb in the cutoff. Action folded back to Zampas, who quickly called all in for slightly less to put himself at risk.

Andreas Zampas: KKQJAll in
Ben Lamb: AKQ8

The A6Q flop improved Zampas to the nuts flush and the 10 turn left him one card away from a double up. However, the A river struck lightning for Lamb — improving his two pair to a full house to eliminate Zamaps from the tournament
