Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Action was picked up on the first draw in a pot between Kazuhiro Shirasawa in the small blind and Daniel Negreanu on the button.

The first draw saw Negreanu draw three and Shirasawa drew two. Shirasawa checked over to Negreanu who bet 25,000 and Shirasawa raised all in for 125,000 and Negreanu called to put him at risk.

Shirasawa drew one and Negreanu stood pat on the second draw.

On the final draw, Shirasawa stood pat and Negreanu sat up in his chair. He took a drink from his water bottle as he looked at Shirasawa before deciding to pat behind.

Kazuhiro Shirasawa: 9x6x5x3x2x All in
Daniel Negreanu: 8x7x4x3x2x

Negreanu's eight-seven was good against Shirasawa's nine-six and he raked in a sizable pot eliminating Shirasawa from the tournament.
