Rios Makes Impressive Call
Level 21
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Dorian Rios and Ben Miller engaged in one of the wildest hands of the tournament thus far.
Rios, on the button, raised to 200,000 preflop. Miller called.
The flop hit 10♦5♦3♣, drawing a 225,000-chip bet from Rios, and another call from Miller.
The 5♠ fell on the turn, and Rios again fired, this time 340,000. Miller came over the top, all in, with more than a million chips in his stack.
Rios went into the tank for some time before flipping in a chip to call and slamming down J♠10♠ for a pair of tens. Miller showed 8♦8♣.
The 2♠ river meant nothing, leading to a jubilant Rios celebration as the dealer counted out the 802,000 chips Miller had to match from Rios' all-in call.
"Don't bluff me, don't ever bluff me," he exclaimed.
