Pineault Satisfied

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

After action was passed to the button, Karl Pineault bet 265,000 on the turn of a board of Q105A and a pot of 500,000. Xizhe Yuan, his heads-up opponent, called to see the last card.

The river 7 got another check from Yuan. Pineault stared at Yuan, considering his options. He took his time to decide what to do but decided to bet 375,000 in the pot. It was Yuan's turn to think. After a while, he called.

Pineault tabled 1010 looking directly at Yuan. Yuan tapped the table to indicate it was good and mucked his hand. Visibly relieved, a smile spread across Pineault's face. He claimed that he had to think carefully how much to bet, finding the balance between a callable bet and a painless amount he can get away from in case Yuan shoved.

All in all, Pineault was quite satisfied with how the hand played out as he scooped the pot.
