Godard Takes Control

Level 37 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Pablo Valdes limped in the small blind and Nicolas Godard defended his blind by raising to 1,800,000. Valdes called leading both of them to the flop.

The dealer unfurled a flop of 627. After a check, Godard fired 1,100,000 to the pot. Seizing control of the hand, Valdes raised to 2,800,000. Not to be outdone, Godard three-bet to 4,600,00 which will cut Valdes stack in half if he called.

Valdes chose to surrender his hand as the dealer pushed the chips towards Godard's direction.
