Gkatzas Rivers Two Pair in a Three-Way Pot

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Three players were engaged on a main pot of around 220,000 and a side pot of 6,000 on a board of 96K2. Charles Phillips was all-in for the main pot, which left Andre Cohen and Dimitrios Gkatzas to fight for a side pot.

Cohen and Gkatzas checked the river 5 taking all three players to showdown.

Phillips tabled J9 for a pair of nines and a flush draw on the flop, Cohen hit top pair on the turn with KQ and Gkatzas caught two pair on the river with K5.

Phillips quietly left the table as Cohen got out of his chair visibly frustrated with the turn of events where he missed having scooped a huge pot because of the river card. Gkatzas just scooped both the main and side pots without saying anything.
