Weisman Gets Value From Gerritse
Noah Schwartz raised to 11,000 from under the gun and was called by Dirk Gerritse in the cutoff, Najeem Ajez on the button and Dylan Weisman in the big blind. On the Q♣J♦3♦ flop, the action checked to Gerritse who bet 16,000. Only Weisman called and they checked the 2♠ on the turn. The 4♥ came on the river and Weisman bet the pot for 79,000.
Gerritse reluctantly called and mucked to the J♠J♣10♠6♥ of Weisman, who scooped the pot with a set of jacks.
"Very good turn card," Weisman said while raking in the pot.
While the hand played out, Bryce Yockey was waiting to get seated and Richard Gryko was balanced away from the table.
"Is it a good seat?" Yockey asked and Gryko replied "I have no way of knowing," after the Brit had folded this particular hand which was his first of the tournament.
