Koon Gets Short and Busts to Brewer
Jason Koon had invested 180,000 on the A♥4♥3♠ flop in three-way action which saw Michael Duek call behind. The 3♥ turn paired the board and Koon check-folded to a bet of 100,000.
"Just the card we wanted," Koon said and poked Duek before adding "Deuce of hearts too, I had the steel wheel blocker":
James Chen then raised to 75,000 and won the blinds before Tomas Ribeiro made it 105,000 to go from under the gun, only Fahredin Mustafov called. On the A♠J♣8♥ flop, Ribeiro's first barrel worth 165,000 was called. He then potted the K♠ turn for 565,000 and Mustafov folded.
In the next hand, Chris Brewer opened the action with a raise to 105,000. Koon jammed for 345,000 and Brewer called when it was his turn to act.

The 10♦8♥6♦ flop spelled trouble for Koon and he was drawing dead on the 8♦ turn to already grab his chips and hand them over to Brewer prior to the 4♣ on the river.
