Frank Busts Martinez Gonzalez
Santhosh Suvarna chose to limp from the cutoff. Christopher Frank followed suit with a call from the button. It got to Sergio Martinez Gonzalez in the big blind, who chose to raise it to 180,000. Suvarna and Frank both called to keep the pot three-handed as they headed to a flop.
Martinez Gonzalez led out for 200,000 on the flop of 9♠J♣4♥. Suvarna folded, but Frank responded with the announcement of an all-in as Martinez Gonzalez had committed a heavy percentage of his stack. Martinez Gonzalez called, and the two headed to a showdown.
Sergio Martinez Gonzalez: K♣Q♠10♣5♠
Christopher Frank: J♥10♥9♣2♠
Martinez Gonzalez was drawing, while Frank held top two pair and needed to hold.
The 7♥ turn and the 6♠ river were not the cards Gonzalez was looking for as he headed to the exit and Frank dragged in the chips.
