Gerritse Eliminated by Garza

Level 13 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Lou Garza made it 140,000 to go from the hijack and Dirk Gerritse then repotted to 480,000 on the button with around 180,000 behind. Both players in the blinds folded and Garza called to then check the AK2 flop. Gerritse moved all in and Garza swiftly called.

Dirk Gerritse: AJJ5 All in
Lou Garza: AQ52

Garza's top and bottom pair were ahead and Gerritse was on thin ice to survive, needing one of the remaining two jacks in the deck to double with some chop outs available as well. The 8 turn and 10 river provided no help and that spelled the end for the Dutch online legend known under his moniker of "Venividi1993."

"Good luck, champ," Gerritse said towards Andjelko Andrejevic on his way out.
