Soverel Check-Jams Turn
Level 18
: 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Sam Soverel raised in the hijack. Aaron Katz called next to act, and Sean Rafael called in the big blind.
The flop came A♦J♣6♣, and action checked to Katz. He bet 450,000, and Soverel called.
The turn brought the 3♦, and Soverel checked again. Katz bet 975,000 now, and Soverel responded with a pot-sized raise, which was enough to put him all in. Katz went deep into the tank, using five time extensions, but eventually folded.
