Zawadzki Finds the Ace to Score Double Knockout

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Lazar Bartha kicked off the action with a raise to 600,000 from late position, leaving just 205,000 behind. Mikolaj Zawadzki made the call on the button, but the hand was far from over, Michael Sampognaro in the big blind moved all in for 1,205,000.

Bartha quickly called off the rest of his stack, and after getting the count confirmed, Zawadzki threw in the chips as well, setting up a three-way showdown.

Lazar Bartha: JJAll in
Michael Sampognaro: 1010All in
Mikolaj Zawadzki: AJ

Zawadzki was slightly behind, but hit the A4Q flop to take the lead. Neither the 3 turn nor the K river changed anything, and Zawadzki held on to eliminate both opponents in one swoop. The massive pot secured him a place near the top of the chip counts.

Hayashi Loses Three-Man Race

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Joe Warling was at risk with a preflop all in from the big blind, as was Yuhi Hayashi under the gun. Samuel Taylor joined the party from middle position with the biggest stack.

Joe Warling: 99All in
Yuhi Hayashi: AK All in
Samuel Taylor: 88

The runout of J49105 excited Warling, thanks to the window card giving him a set. That was good enough for the main point.

Taylor took the rest of Hayashi's chips in the side pot.

Santos Sends Hagan Home

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Malachy Hagan kicked things off with a raise to 1,600,000 from under the gun. Action folded to Carlos Santos in middle position, who quickly went all in. With the action back to Hagan, he made the call, leading to a showdown.

Malachy Hagan: K10All in
Carlos Santos: AA

Hagan needed help from the board, and the 4K2 flop gave him a pair of kings. But it wasn't quite enough and the A turn sealed the deal for Santos, who made a set of aces, and the Q river just confirmed Hagan's elimination.
