Bryce Yockey opened the button to 3,000 and Josh Arieh defended his big blind.
Both the 9♠7♠3♦ flop and 2♦ turn checked through.
On the K♥ river, Arieh led for 5,000, Yockey raised to 15,000, and Arieh called.
"Queen high," Yockey announced as Arieh tabled K♠10♥ for the winner.
"I could have won the pot at any point by betting, then I put a bunch in on the river," joked Yockey in the post-mortem.
The next hand, Matthew Schreiber opened to 4,000 under the gun and Eric Wasserson called on his left. In the small blind, Arieh squeezed to 16,000. Schreiber folded and Wasserson called.
Arieh led for 10,000 on the 8♠4♥4♦ flop and Wasserson called.
The K♠ turn checked through to the J♣ river which saw Arieh lead for 35,000, and Wasserson snap-folded.
