Wasserson Frustrates Burns

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo

Kahle Burns: XxXx / 2759 / Xx
Eric Wasserson: XxXx / A95J / Xx

Wasserson completed and Burns defended his bring-in.

Wasserson took the passive route as he check-called bets across fourth, fifth, and sixth streets.

Wasserson checked a final time on seventh before Burns frustratingly checked back as he missed his draws. Wasserson tabled AKQ in the hole for a lone pair of aces which were enough for the scoop.

"When did you make the ace?" Burns inquired.

"I never made it, I just had it," Wasserson claimed.

Hastings Trips Up Konstas

Level 18

Limit Hold'em

Brian Hastings raised from the small blind and Ioannis Konstas called in the big blind.

On the KQQ flop, Hastings led and Konstas called.

The 4 turn checked through to the 5 river which saw Hastings lead and Konstas quickly called. Hastings tabled Q8 for trip queens which were good as Konstas mucked.

Griff Doubles Twice

Level 18

Limit Hold'em

Immediately after Jordan Griff doubled his short stack, he was all in again in Limit Hold'em.

Three-way action to the 8A10 flop saw Qiang Xu check from the small blind, and Griff followed with a check in the big blind. Alexander Wilkinson fired a bet from the cutoff, with only Griff calling.

The 4 turn brought a bet from Griff, and a call from Wilkinson. Griff then moved his stack of less than 10,000 into the middle on the 6 river, and Wilkinson called.

Griff tabled A4 for two pair to double up again, while Wilkinson turned over J9 before tossing it in the muck.

Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

2-7 Triple Draw

Dario Sammartino and Kahle Burns were heads-up to the final draw. Sammartino took one from the big blind, while Burns stood pat on the button.

Sammartino checked, leaving himself just 8,000 behind. Burns checked back, revealing 10x7x5x4x2x. That was good, as Sammartino mucked and lost the rest of his stack on the next hand.

Sammartino was joined on the rail by Ashish Gupta, who also lost the rest of his stack before the break.

Burns Calls Sebst's Bluff

Level 17

2-7 Triple Draw

Bradley Jansen raised on the button before Vanessa Selbst slid out a three-bet in the small blind. Kahle Burns followed with a four-bet in the big blind, with only Selbst calling.

Each player drew two cards, with Selbst betting and Burns making the call. Both took one card, and Selbst check-called a bet from Burrns.

Selbst took one final card, while Burns stood pat. Selbst counted her remaining stack before committing all but 5,000 of it with a bet. Burns quickly called, and turned over 8x6x5x3x2x. That was enough to take down the pot, as Selbst instantly mucked before seeing Burns' hand.
