Aces and Sevens for Katz
Level 18
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Cary Katz opened the action with a raise to 20,000 from early position and was called in one spot in the big blind by Ahmed Nimer.
Nimer checked the 7♣K♥8♦ flop before Katz bet 20,000. Nimer called to stay in the hand and head to the turn.
Both players checked the A♥ turn, which led to the 6♥ river. Nimer checked the river, but Katz chose to fire 29,000. Nimer gave it some thought as he shuffled his chips. Nimer eventually committed to a call.
Katz showed A♦7♦ for a turned two pair. A disappointed Nimer mucked his hand.
